Are you looking for work but haven’t yet landed a job?
Sometimes it takes both training and work experience to open the door to employment. Through our RI MAP services, we provide both training and real-life work experience.
We’ll help you:

- Benefit from training adapted to your learning style
Through our training center, we’ll support you to prepare for a retail or customer service position. Throughout Rhode Island there’s a great demand for workers who can fill these entry-level positions. These jobs can also be a stepping stone to many career paths.
Throughout these 8 weeks, we’ll help you to prepare for your place in the workforce.
Learn on-the-job skills:
- Operate a register
- Use a scanner
- Place products
- Provide customer service
Develop soft skills:
- Communicate
- Problem solve
- Handle difficult customers
Gain Employment Skills:
- Learn to be interviewed
- Develop a resume
- Chart your goals & plan
- Map job options in your community
What to expect:
- Hybrid: online and in person training
- Meeting in locations convenient to you
